Principal's Welcome

Picture
Welcome to the Marist College Website. The information contained in these pages has been prepared to give you an insight into what our College stands for, our courses of study and the general day to day running of our college. We hope you get a feel for what Catholic Education is, especially what it means at Marist.

Marist College is proud of its Marist heritage. We take seriously our commitment to the Five Characteristics of Marist teaching; Presence, Simplicity, Family Spirit, and Love of Work and In the Way of Mary. We are proud to belong to MSA (Marist Schools Australia) and we enjoy the many benefits of membership of this national body.

We are a progressive school of over 570, yet we can offer a relevant and diverse curriculum taught by a dedicated and professional staff. Our aim is to graduate students who have the attributes of lifelong learners who have employable skills and who have an awareness of social and global responsibility. Our curriculum is delivered in excellent facilities many other schools would envy.

Marist enjoys an excellent reputation of involvement in co-curricular activities. We are particularly proud of our sporting, cultural, community and spiritual achievements which cater for the holistic development of each child.

A culture of care is fundamental to everything we do at Marist. Our Pastoral Care and Behaviour Management programs endeavour to make every member of the College community feel safe, respected and helped to develop as the best person God intended them to be.
Partnerships with parents are encouraged and expected and we value involvement of parents in all facets of their child’s education.

I trust you find the information contained herein helpful and informative. We would welcome your feedback at any time. If you are seeking enrolment for your child, I look forward to meeting you during the enrolment process.
